NEW POLITICAL AUCTION SITE LAUNCHED

SENATE SEAT FOR SALE

Chicago: Members of the Chicago political machine today announced the launch of a new political auction site called Politicians For Sale.

"We have one US Senate seat for sale, along with votes on major issues by a number of Congressmen and Senators, " said  Philip Ladrone, spokesman for The Machine.

In addition to federal offices, thousands of state and local politicians are also offered for sale on the Politicians For Sale site.

"This is the Craig's List and eBay of political wheeling and dealing," said Ladrone.

The Illinois Senate seat the Governor  tried to sell is prominently featured on the auction site.

"The problem with that schmuck is he was asking way too little for the seat," said Ladrone. "It's worth at least $5 million."

Ladrone was not worried about being indicted for starting the site.

"There is no promises being made to trade a vote for the money here," he said, while winking repeatedly.

"We're just trying to be a honest broker matching buyers and sellers," he added.

The Politicians For Sale site will get 10% commission on all sales.
